The Jakum Castle...

Year 512 after Grand Tragedy..

I was stoned. Was he really telling me the truth or was he lying to stay alive? I couldn't know clearly, but I knew that whatever happened there, it was making him sad. I could read it in his eyes. Seeing that I was unsure of his story, he told me to go at the castle and see it by myself. ''How could I do that? Don't you guard the castle?'' I asked, afraid that it could be a trap to kill me. ''Your puny race took off a key from one of our guard and made copies of it. Now, you can buy a key from some humans in your big town, I think it is called Arnya'' he answered with hate in his voice. I asked him what I should do after having the key and entering the castle, what would be the reaction of the villagers there. ''Villagers? Haha, there are no more villagers. Every single Zakum living in the castle now has a weapon. When you enter there, you better kill them all, otherwise YOU get killed. Don't care about my family or children, they now are the same monsters as the one you kill everyday, they are mindless.''. After thanking him from his help, I went to Armia to try to find someone selling the Jakum castle key. Surprisingly, as soon as I came into Armia, I found someone who was trying to sell copies of it. When I said I was interested, he told me that by going there and killing the chief of the Zakum clan, I would obtain a powerful Imp which helps into the fights. ''Exactly what the merchant Zakum said'' I thought... I then bought him a copy of the key and headed into the forgotten parts of Azran field.

In front of the castle, what was my surprise when I found a Zakum heading there. I talked to him, and he just said : ''No one is currently attacking the Zakum castle.''. I tried to bring up a conversation, but it was useless. The merchant was once again right, all these trips from death to life made these creatures brainless. Then, I took my courage with my both arms, and entered. As soon as I got into the first part of the castle, half of the first village attacked me at once. Hopefully they were poor fighters, because otherwise I would already been dead. I killed Zakums for hours, since as soon as one was killed, another Zakum appeared from nowhere to bring up the fight. After 3 hours passed, a Zakum guard dropped a key when he fell on the ground. I fastly took it and headed in the next part of the gigantic castle. The same thing happened, the same difference was that at each room, more powerful Zakums were waiting for me. After 24 hours fighting without taking a single break, I finally reached the last room of the castle, the Chief's room. What was my surprise when I faced this huge Zakum. But I was completly lost when another one appeared in the back of him. They were exactly the same! There also were Imps in the room, but hopefully they were weak, they weren't real Imp fighters yet. I engaged the fight immediatly, to be sure that I wouldn't run out of strenght in the middle of the fight. After less than 10 minutes fighting, the both chiefs were already out of the fight, lying on the ground. I immediatly got teleported back into Armia town, and, at my greatest surprise, with an Imp on my shoulder.

Without losing any time, I went back to the merchant Zakum, but he wasnt there. I only found a letter saying : ''Maybe we will meet again, but till then, I do need to sell my items to survive. It was nice to see that not all the humans are hatable, but still, I haven't recovered my respect into this race. Live in peace.''.

While he found out that the humans were better than they seemed, I realized the opposite...

To be continued...?
